Can
you
speak to us about your beginnings in the music? ALASKO:
- I took my first steps in the music in 1988 with the college of
Cocody (Abidjan) where I imitated Eric B & Rakim. I have then to
assemble several groups until NEGROMUFFIN which revealed me with the
public . Can
you speak to us about your topicality? ALASKO:
- I pass the majority of my spare time in my home-studio with my
musicians for the last keys of my album . What
are your projects in the immediate future ? ALASKO:
It is to buckle the recording of my album . How
definite your music ? ALASKO:
- My music is a mixing of ragga , dancehall and reggae .
Why
the ragga/dancehall ? ALASKO:
- The ragga/dancehall is a musical style which conveys the joy ,
gaiety . A music which allows has the man to escape so much is little
dreams of this world . I want that people forget would be only for
2 minutes , their problems , their differences and have fun with the sound
of my music . WHAT
IS THE PRINCIPAL SUBJECT OF YOUR SONGS ? ALASKO:
- In my songs, I generally speak about love, the joy in life, misery
and the conflicts which tear the world… DO
YOU HAVE MAKE MUSICAL MEETINGS ? ALASKO:
- Yes much , I met very good musicians with whom I have make somes
concerts in Paris . I hello with passage RUFF CUT BAND and MORGAN
HERITAGE, two jamaïcains groups with which I had good experience . DO
YOU HAVE A PARTICULAR MESSAGE TO MAKE PASS THROUGH YOUR SONGS? ALASKO:
it message which particularly holds me with heart addresses to all
those which currently know the war , violence in particular on the
African continent : let us stop all these sterile conflicts which do not
carry out nowhere . Let us cultivate the love , peace and the harmony . Unite rather our forces in order to help our continent has to
develop . realized
